Headshots are an important part of your brand. They are the face (pun intended) of your business. Headshots don't have to be taken in a studio in front of a solid backdrop, though. These shots were taken on a street outside a Starbucks coffee shop. https://t.co/U8yqvg4sZf
I took this photo in about 2009. I never learned this guy's name or what kind of work he was doing, but even today, 10 years later, I remember where he sat in the coffeeshop and that he always seemed to snag the "good table."
David had been in the oil & gas industry and had fallen on hard times. He lost his job, his home, his wife, and his kids. He tried to work, but being homeless is not conducive to working a 9:00 to 5:00 job. https://t.co/QAn740FRlx
So between meetings at an academic conference in San Francisco in 2009, I took my camera out and walked around the city where I'd lived when I was 23. With the camera, I felt at home. These photos are from that time. https://t.co/CNfFNa40Lc
Baseball is "America's sport." (Or so they say!) But it's a fun sport, especially when the players are kids and they are having great fun with each other and with the game. Any day with baseball-- as was yesterday-- is a great day. https://t.co/kYk46ye7T3
